Professor Pillay comments, "Baroness Cox is an excellent appointment as Chancellor of Liverpool Hope University and she will be a strong advocate for our unique mission and values. She is heavily involved with international humanitarian work. Among many accolades, she has been honoured with the Commander Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, the Wilberforce Award for humanitarian work and the International Mother Teresa Award." After the service our celebrations continued in The Great Hall, Hope at Everton when staff and guests joined Baroness Cox for a special buffet lunch. Please visit our image galleries of the event : |
