Hope Academy

Liverpool Hope University is one of three sponsors for the Academy at Newton-le-Willows. In partnership with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool and the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool, Liverpool Hope is sponsoring the Academy which is the product of the merging of Newton-le-Willows and St Aelred's RC High Schools. The new Academy has a focus on environmental sustainability and Liverpool Hope University will provide expertise on:

  • the initial and continuing professional development of school staff
  • research into Academies
  • raising of academic achievement
  • encouraging widening participation in higher education.
