York

York, like many other cities in Britain, was founded by the Romans. York is located on the River Ouse and in the centre of the Vale of York, placing the city in a prominent position for the Nation’s transport. It displays a many number of historical and cultural landmarks, from the Roman Wall and the forts of York to the medieval looking streets and the Minister and War Memorials. The walk on city wall and in the city centre is always liked by the students.
