International Alumni Volunteers

Calling International Alumni

Do you want to extend your international network? Do you enjoy working on exciting global projects? Become an International Alumni Volunteer...

Liverpool Hope University’s International Alumni Volunteers are a network of Hope graduates from all over the world with a mission to raise the profile of Hope on the international stage. International Alumni Volunteers help raise awareness of Hope to potential students and their families, schools, colleges and higher educational institutions, as well as professional bodies and associations. You can become involved in this exciting new initiative, dedicating as much or as little time as you can spare, and become involved in a variety of projects.

International Alumni Volunteers roles include:

Student Success Story Promoter: you can provide success stories for use on the website, Hope Times, and other local and national media. Many students have submitted their stories – go to http://www.hope.ac.uk/international-student-success-stories/

Ambassadorial Communicator: you can speak to potential students and other interested parties, either face-to-face, by email, telephone, social networks, to act as an extra communicator and help students in their decision to study at Hope. Your Hope experience can really help!

Recruitment Assistant: you can assist staff during recruitment and promotional events in your country. It’s hard work, but lots of fun!

Local Market Researcher: you can help in the development of Liverpool Hope by helping on market research projects, capitalising on your local knowledge and contacts.

Hope Presenter: you can make presentations at local schools, colleges and local institutions. This helps to promote Hope message and aids student recruitment

Pre-departure Coordinator: You can help students who have made the decision to come to study at Hope by briefing them on the UK, the University (course, accommodation, study skills, etc) and what to expect in their first few weeks. You can share your secrets and knowledge!
