The Christ’s College Pioneers Book Launch: Friday 17^th September 2010

Work has recently come to an end on the writing and publishing of a new book which looks back on the establishment and early years of Christ’s College. Written by Mike Hopper, one of the original cohort of Christ’s students in 1964, the book captures the early days of the College from the perspective of its students and former members of staff.

The launch of the book was held on Friday 17^th September in the Capstone Theatre at Liverpool Hope University’s Creative Campus and was marked with a special performance by The Keyroes, a folk group that played an integral part in the early Christ’s College years, who reformed for the first time in over forty years for the occasion.
