On Tuesday 2nd February 2010 Liverpool Hope University hosted a special service and lunch to celebrate the Notre Dame College Birthday.
Mount Pleasant and Notre Dame former students and staff have very happy memories of the College’s birthday so with the help of Notre Dame Alumni Irene Slack and Rita Lewis, the Development Office organised a day to give people a chance to get together, meet old friends and reminisce about college days.
The day included:
- Tea/coffee on arrival with time to talk
- Mass in the newly restored chapel
- Lunch
- An opportunity to tour the Hope campus to see how the University has developed
- And more time to talk!
