Annual Archbishop Blanch Memorial Lecture 2016

Rachel TreweekThe 20th Annual Archbishop Blanch Memorial Lecture will be delivered by the Rt Revd Rachel Treweek, the Bishop of Gloucester, on Tuesday 25th October 2016 at 7:00 pm in EDEN Lecture Theatre. 

Bishop Rachel will speak on Though We Are Many: The Ministry of the whole people of God.

Bishop Rachel took up her post as the 41st Bishop of Gloucester in September 2015, having previously served as Archdeacon of Hackney for four years and Archdeacon of Northolt for five years.  She trained for ordination at Wycliffe Hall where she received a BTh from Oxford University.  She was ordained in 1994 to serve her Curacy at St George & All Saints, Tufnell Park. In 1999 she was instituted as Vicar of St James the Less, Bethnal Green.  She is the first female diocesan Bishop in the Church of England. 

Refreshments will be served on arrival to EDEN Lecture Theatre from 6:30 pm.  All are welcome.
