Research Seminar Series

The Faculty of Business and Computer Sciences hosts a programme of research seminars by invited speakers, PGR Students, and the staff of the Faculty. They are open to all.

The seminar series is tailored to the demands of specific audiences in the areas of Computer Science & Informatics and Management & Business Development. High-profile speakers in the last academic year have included Professors Terrence Fernando (University of Salford, UK) and V.P. Singh (Indian Institute of Technology, India), P. Thangavel (University of Madras, India), Thomas Freytag (University of Cooperative Education, Karlsruhe, Germany).

We also run internal seminars to disseminate breaking research results and to explore opportunities for multi-disciplinary research by inviting internal and external speakers. Sometimes the seminars may take the form of a Faculty wide event and on other occasions it may result into a small group of interested people/parties meeting to further a research cause.
