PAST EVENTS
Rededication of Hope Chapel - Sunday 24th January
Sunday 24th January was a very special for the chaplaincy team and Liverpool Hope University. The newly-refurbished Hope Chapel, closed due to damage caused by a fire some years ago, was officially rededicated by Bishop Ian Stuart, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Support and Well-Being) and Bishop Ambrose Griffiths (Bishop Emeritus of Hexham and Newcastle). At this service, an Honorary Fellowship was presented to Canon Michael Wolfe in recognition of his untiring work for ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue in Liverpool.
Past and present members of the University dressed the altar during the service, symbolic of how Hope chapel connects both the past and present members of the university.
Thank you to all who made this such a wonderful service.
