Join the Network

There is no cost to join the network. The advantages of joining are to receive three newsletters a year and invitations to register for events coordinated by the network. Before each newsletter we will remind members to submit information for inclusion. You should expect to receive about one e-mail a month from the network.

The information submitted on the form is added to a database of members' interests. This allows us to select your interests and alert you of specific news and events linked to these topics. We may also ask you to contribute your views to research reports and consultation documents. 

The information held on the database will not be publicly available. However, we would intend to make the information available to statutory agencies for specific projects. For example, we could provide Natural England with a list of members interested in scrub control on sand dunes in England.

In 2010 we will consider a further development of the database to allow member's details to be available to other members. We will seek advice on this and will ask for member's views before taking action. 

Members are positively welcome from outside the United Kingdom. One of the objectives of the network is to encourage co-operation both within Europe and worldwide.
