Research

Computer Science research at Liverpool Hope University has been identified as a key area of strength and is carried out within the Faculty of Business and Computer Sciences. In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008) an overall of 60% of the research submitted by the Department of Computer Science, here at Liverpool Hope University, was judged to be of "international recognition and excellence". Centre for Applicable Mathematics and Systems Science

The department is to host The Centre for Applicable Mathematics and Systems Science (CAMSS), which will serve as a regional centre actively engaging research/KTP bid grants in collaboration with partner institutions. Visit the CAMSS web site.

Computer Science graduates bank jobs at Barclays 

Three of the Department's graduates have recently secured software development positions at Barclays Bank. 

Department's teaching excellence recognised

A team within the Department were joint winners of the 2010 Rector's Teaching Excellence Award.

International conference hosted by the Department
