The Creative Campus is closer to the heart of Liverpool city centre.  The Campus is home to The Cornerstone and The Capstone Buildings.  A multi-million pound regeneration project led to the opening of The Cornerstone building in 1999, a beautifully renovated Grade II listed Building, and the ultra modern Capstone building in 2010.

The Cornerstone Building

The centrepiece of the Cornerstone is The Great Hall, a stunning example of open space suitable for a multitude of events - conferences (400), corporate dining (250), exhibitions and performances.  Other facilities include six syndicate rooms, a drama theatre with full lighting facilities and a state-of-the art recording studio.

The Capstone Building

The centrepiece of the Capstone Building is the Hope Performance Theatre, a 290 seat tiered performance hall, this space is sonically designed to deliever the best possible acoustic.  It is equipped with state-of-the art lighting and technical facilities and will support a range of performances.  The new centre will also house three teaching/meeting rooms and two large multipurpose/music studios.

A new Renaissance-style garden:Angel's Field, completes the campus, linking all the buildings at the site and providing a tranquil oasis in an urban setting.  The garden is home to the Amphitheatre - an exciting new outdoor performance venue.

The Garden

01_Garden.jpgAt the heart of the campus is Angel Field, a magnificent 21st century Renaissance garden, planted in order to provide a place of beauty and serenity for contemplation and study.

The final piece in the redevelopment of the campus, its fountains, performance amphitheatre, angel statue and beautiful, quiet reflective spaces are an oasis in the heart of the city.

The garden is named after the Angel Field farm which once occupied the site and was run by Jesuit priests from St Francis Xavier’s church. (Poet Gerard Manley Hopkins was once a curate at SFX.)

The garden is an ideal location for a variety of event and functions.  Clients have the opportunity to have welcome drinks in this beautful space.
