Secondary NQT/RQT Enhancement Programme

Welcome to the Secondary NQT/RQT website. We really enjoyed working with you throughout your PGCE year and we hope you are enjoying the challenge of your first year in school as ‘Hope’ teachers.

It is a demanding year and we want to maintain our relationship with you and support you in your Continuous Professional Development as much as possible. You can always access advice and guidance from the NQT/RQT Enhancement Programme here at LHU and we hope that we can continue to work together throughout your NQT year and beyond!

There is subject specific advice available to you on the NQT/RQT subject Moodle, and you will find a range of more generic resources on the above tabs which will help you develop your knowledge of key areas within the secondary education arena. There is also a link to NQT/RQT events/conferences at Hope that are available to you on a termly basis.

Please feel free to get in touch to make any suggestions for developing our NQT/RQT support; we are always happy to hear from you. Meanwhile, we wish you all the very best in your future teaching career.
