Children’s voices have become central to decisions that are made in society with regard to their well being within families and schools. This session will discuss how both this and the needs of society have changed our approach to the scientific study of child development.
Sensitivity to a child’s right to participate in science and recognition of the value of their contribution is crucial to the work of the ChildLab at Liverpool Hope. In some sense this asks us to reconsider what science is.
