Starts: Tuesday, 14 November 2017
The Department of Geography and Environmental Science presents Professor Richard Bradshaw University of Liverpool.
The UK is one of the least forested countries in Europe. Why is this so? What did UK woodlands look like in the past and how have they been influenced by human activities? Do woodlands have a role in our future now that we mostly live in cities? This talk will answer some of these questions, provide background to our present woodland situation and explore possible future roles for woodland.
