Almost every day we are confronted with further evidence that human action is having a harmful impact on the environment.
This session will attempt to answer two questions: Is the world becoming more affected by extreme natural events such as tropical cyclones, droughts, floods and earthquakes? And, if so, can this be ascribed in part to human beings manipulating the environment?
