Welcome to Liverpool Hope University and congratulations on your new appointment.

We would like to take the time to welcome you into the University and, if you are from out of town, to the City of Liverpool. Whether you are a visiting lecturer, or a permanent member of staff, we are sure that Liverpool Hope University will touch your hearts and give you memories that you will not soon forget.

To support your transition to a new job there are a wide range of facilities and opportunities for you at Liverpool Hope University. There is a wide range of events and courses held over the duration of the year to help you with your academic development. 

There is a mandatory induction that all staff must attend. This will help you acquaint yourself with Liverpool Hope University and your department, also it will make you aware of essential policies and procedures and help you familiarise yourself with your surroundings. The Staff Development Co-ordinator will be in touch with you regarding this event.  In the meantime, Please have a look at the guidance for new staff

Liverpool has vast wealth of culture and landmarks that are world renowned and spectacular to see. To help you get to know the University, and Liverpool, here is a Staff Induction Booklet. This guide also has information relating to the University history and structure.  You will also be able to get instructions on how to log in from the frequently asked questions.
