The Network of Hope is a partnership between Liverpool Hope University and church sixth form colleges sharing the same mission in the North West. The aim of the Network of Hope is to offer higher education courses to communities that would otherwise not have such a provision. Currently undergraduate provision is available at St Mary's College, Blackburn, and Holy Cross College, Bury.

St Mary’s College, Blackburn

St. Mary’s College, Blackburn, is a major provider of higher ed ucation in East Lancashire. An ongoing investment programme has resulted in excellent campus facilities including the Hope Zone for Multi-media and IT, the Finley-Stokes Centre for Social Sciences, the Graystone Science Centre and the O’Neill Academy for Performing Arts. In St. Mary's last Ofsted inspection it was judged to be Grade 1 'outstanding' for Teaching and Learning, Support for Students, Inclusivity, Leadership and Financial Management. St. Mary’s was also one of the first North West Colleges to receive Beacon Status for the excellence of its provision. The College has offered degree programmes, as part of the Network of Hope, since 1999 and prides itself on the strength of its partnership with Liverpool Hope which has resulted in exceptionally high-quality teaching and support for all higher education students.

Holy Cross College, Bury

Holy Cross College, Bury, which has an excellent reputation for academic excellence and pastoral care and is rated as one of the top ten Colleges in the country. The College's University Centre is proud of its reputation for offering unrivalled support to all its students and a friendly and modern environment in which to study and its reputation for academic excellence. For a relatively small University Centre, it is remarkable that 66% of Holy Cross students in 2008 gained either first class degrees or 2:1s.

The College has high quality facilities, which includes excellent classroom environment, a first-class library with learning support areas, and a fully air-conditioned IT centre. It is easily accessible via the motorway network and allows students to complete a degree course without the need to move away from home. The College has been part of the Network of Hope since 1999. In partnership with Hope University the college offers a range of courses to meet local needs.
