On The Day

  • At 3.00 pm the focus is upon research students, with the opportunity being given for MPhil and PhD candidates to present aspects of their work to the wider research student community. Three to four sessions each year are given over to skills training workshops. Those are full-day training sessions and are suitable for students on research degrees or M level students at Sissertation Stage.
  • At 17.00 there is a research lecture, normally by a guest to the University.

Each year a themed series of three lectures is given by a member of the University staff. This year Rev Dr Steven Shakespeare will deliver three lectures relating to his work entitled: 'Most Haunted: Exploring the Future of Postmodern Theology in Dialogue with Jacques Derrida'.
