International Tuition Fees

For courses starting in September 2018, the fees are as follows:

  • Undergraduate: £11,400 (Fixed for each year of the course)
  • Postgraduate: £11,400 (1 year course)
  • International MBA: £12,400 (1 year course)

If you have previously completed a full time undergraduate course at Liverpool Hope University in the last 3 years you will be charged Home Fees for postgraduate study. This will charged £5,200 for group 1 subjects and £6,000 for group 2 subjects and £10,500 for an International MBA. 

You must budget carefully to support yourself during your studies in the UK. Education is a huge financial commitment and it is important you understand the tuition fees, costs and payment methods, although for international students, Liverpool Hope University remains one of the most affordable universities in England.

How to pay your tuition fees/accommodation

You can pay using the Liverpool Hope Bank Transfer platform powered by our partner Western Union Business Solutions.

This service allows you to pay your international tuition fees and/or accommodation (deposit or in full) in your local currency and from your home bank account without worrying about exchange rates or bank charges.

Living costs

Living costs, sometimes called maintenance, include accommodation, food, clothing, entertainment and travel in the UK. Liverpool Hope estimate the cost of living to be £9,135 per academic year.

Payment Methods

International Students must pay a tuition fee deposit of £3,000, and then pay the fees in full or by dates specified in the payment plan which is as follows.

50% of the balance at registration and 50% of the balance within 3 months.

Deferring Your Entry – Postgraduate Applications Only

If you are unable to start your course by the specified start date it may be possible to defer your application for entry to the next intake. You must send a request to defer your application to the International Admissions team by email to as soon as possible. Please include your full name, date of birth, the course you applied for, University reference number and the reason you wish to defer your application. Please include ‘Request to Defer’ in the subject heading. Entry can only be deferred within one academic year and is subject to approval. Please note if you defer then you will be charged the subsequent fee rate for the academic year that you defer to, rather than the academic year for which you originally applied.
