Admission, Fees and Semester Dates

Entry Requirements

Students should be registered undergraduates in a recognised university or college who are in good academic standing and who have:

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (“B” average).
  • One academic letter of reference from your home institution- must be from a professor or lecturer who has taught you
  • Please send your transcript of results with your application

It is expected that you will normally be studying with us in your junior or senior year but students in other years will also be considered.


Fees 2018/19

The Study Abroad Package includes tuition fees and accommodation, plus other benefits as listed below. Your room will be a single room in a shared apartment with a communal kitchen, located at our residential campus, Aigburth Park, where you will find an impressive range of communal facilities: access to a social space; vending area; a launderette; access to free computers and printing facilities and pleasant gardens.


In addition to the tuition fees and accommodation, the Study Abroad Package includes the following:

  • a pre-paid catering card with the equivalent of £35 per week of credit, to be used in any catering outlet or store at Hope Park or the Creative Campus
  • airport pick-up from Manchester International Airport if required
  • a new bed pack with single duvet, pillow, covers and sheet
  • an Orientation Programme and the support of the International Hub
  • 24 hour Security and evening and weekend Residential Life staff
  • on-site Launderette
  • free shuttle buses to and from the teaching campuses
  • unrestricted use of the Library and IT facilities at the teaching campuses
  • free WiFi in your study room and all areas of the University (restricted for on-line gaming)
  • the services of our Counselling and Learning Support teams
  • free membership of Hope Park Sports and free use of all facilities (subject to induction fee of £25)
  • a weekly ‘British Life’ culture course
  • the opportunity to gain a ‘Certificate in Service and Leadership’
