As a student at Liverpool Hope University, the opportunity exisits for you to study abroad for part of your degree. It is an exciting opportunity for you to travel, broaden your horizons and gain and insight into a different way of life. It can enhance your personal and academic development and improve your employment prospects and help your CV to stand out from others.
We encourage you to study abroad through an interesting range of possibilities. Exchanges are possible for students from any discipline to study in Europe under the ERASMUS exchange programme and direct exchange programmes to the USA, Canada, South Africa, Korea, Hong Kong and Japan.
Students can go on exchange for one or two semesters during their second or third year, restrictions apply.
Modules successfully completed at the overseas universities will be fully accredited and credits transferred to Liverpool Hope at the end of your stay.
We have over 50 partners in 20 countries from Belgium to Turkey. Courses are offered in the majority of subjects taught at Hope and many are taught in English so there is no need to be fluent in another language. Some partners also offer courses specially designed for Erasmus students. Many of our partners have an Erasmus Student Network who offer support to exchange students.
Grants are available for Liverpool Hope students who wish to study at our partner European institutions under the Erasmus/Life Long Learning Scheme. For futher details on this programme visit the Erasmus website.
We have eight partners located along the East coast of America from SUNY Plattsburgh to University of Mississippi and one partner located in Canada. Courses offered cover the majority of courses offered at Hope.
We also have partners in South Africa, South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong.
