Credit Load:

A Liverpool Hope student will take 60 credits per semester, so make sure that your course choices reflect this credit load. Our courses are either 30 credits or 15 credits. You will join Liverpool Hope students for all of your courses.

  • First semester students should take classes that end in X1 or are listed as Semester 1 in the catalogue adding up to 60 LHU credits
  • Second semester students should take classes that end in X2 or are listed as Semester 2 in the catalogue adding up to 60 LHU credits
  • Full Year students should contact the Study Abroad team at studyabroad@hope.ac.uk for guidance on selecting courses

Course Levels:

All courses have a course code that starts with four letters. The first three letters indicate the department, while the fourth indicates the course level.

'C' stands for Certificate and is a first year course. It is equivalent to a US 200 level class
'I' stands for Intermediate and is a second year course. It is equivalent to a US 300 level class
'H' stands for Honours and is a final (third) year course. It is equivalent to a US 400(+) level class
