Other Study Abroad Expenses: 2016/17

Food / toiletries:

Takes into account evening and weekend meals which are NOT covered by the catering card

Social / going out:

Eating out, cinema, trips - this depends on the individual!

Health Insurance: 

£4.50/wk

Please check out providers from your country

Transport: 

£14/wk

for any travel in addition to the free shuttle bus which gets you to classes Monday to Friday.  A return trip to the city centre would cost around £3.50.  Trains to London start at £35 return.

Books / Materials:

£50 

Buying second hand books can reduce this cost.  Most books are available to borrow from the Library.

This list does not include expenses for travel around the UK and Europe, buying clothes or gifts, purchasing the TRIPS PACKAGE (£99) or theatre tickets, conferences or events.
