International Exchange Programme

Outgoing Exchange is a unique educational and cultural opportunity that can enrich your academic experience, it can also demonstrate a positive and 'can do' attitude, provide experiences and skills sought by employers, as well as enable you to develop as an individual.

If you choose to go on Outgoing Exchange you will study at any one of our partner universities we have around the world. The academic credits that you will receive while on Exchange will count towards your final degree, as we aim to match your course choices to what you would study at Liverpool Hope University.

We have a dedicated team in the International Hub to help you through the process of applying to go on an Exchange and to support you right throughout your time abroad.

Who can go on Exchange?

Every Liverpool Hope student has the right to go on Exchange in their second year of study (Level I) only providing it will not hinder their studies and they are of a good academic standing (55+ average on assessments in Level C) and have sufficient engagement with their studies (Attendence of 70% and above at all Lectures, Seminars and Tutorials). You have the chance to study at one of our partners for either a semester (January to May) or the full academic year with all academic credits counting towards your degree when you return.

Where can I go on Exchange?

We have partner universities worldwide from Hong Kong through Europe to America. Choosing which partner university you want to study at depends on where you want to go and also which university offers your specialist course.
