We are seeking to appoint a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the work of the Theology, Philosophy and Religious Studies Department. The main purpose of the role is to provide a high-level of administrative support across the Department to staff and students.
Educated to degree level or with an equivalent qualification and experience, the successful candidate will be required to have excellent organisational skills and a strong administration background. She/he should have experience of working successfully within a team as well as being able to work independently. Strong communication and IT Skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in higher education is desirable.
The role holder will be required to work flexibly and have the ability to prioritise and organise their own workload. Demonstrable ability to minute meetings is essential, as are strong customer-service skills.
A pro-active approach to tasks, with the ability to identify solutions to issues and problems is essential to this role, together with the ability to provide a supportive environment to students across the Faculty.

This is a full-time role and the working hours will be Monday to Fri 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch.
Salary: £20,411 to £22,876 (Grade 4)
