We are looking for a dynamic, creative and hard-working individual for the role of Social Media Officer at Liverpool Hope University based at our Hope Park Campus. If you are a self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, this could be the perfect role for you.
You will need to have demonstrable relevant experience working in a Social Media or Public Relations role. You will have experience of the day-to-day management of social media channels for your organisation.
You will be supporting the Heads of External Relations in all areas of the team’s work, but particularly with social media covering proactive and reactive communication as well as crisis communication. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing social media channels, developing and implementing creative ways to engage with prospective and current students, and extending the University’s recruitment campaign on social media. You will also be tasked with developing internal relations to enhance and maintain the supply of good news stories that promote the University.
The right candidate will have experience of creating exciting and engaging social media PR campaigns and will be well used to creating multimedia content for social media including film and photography. Experience of utilising social media tools such as Facebook Live and Instagram Stories is a must, as well as applications such as Hoot Suite, Social Sign in and other monitoring tools.
