British Science Week programme explores cutting-edge science

Cybersecurity, virtual reality, visual illusions, health MOTs and food sensory workshops are just some of the exciting interactive sessions planned for British Science Week at Liverpool Hope.

Running from Friday 8th – Wednesday 13th March, the University has a packed schedule of fun and interactive educational events designed to make science accessible to all.

Our 2019 programme explores science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as showcasing the state-of-the-art facilities available to our science students.

With dedicated sessions for schools, colleges and members of the public, there is something for everyone.

On Sunday 10th March, we have a family event running from 1 – 4pm, which will feature a series of free taster sessions designed to allow attendees to explore the different science disciplines on offer at Liverpool Hope.

Come along to explore plant and animal specimens from Liverpool’s World Museum, learn how visual illusions can distort perceptions, have your health assessed, and discover more about food sensory science.
