The National Student Survey, asked nearly half a million students at publicly funded Higher Education Institutions across the UK to rate their satisfaction with their university experience.

With an overall student satisfaction rate of 90.29 per cent, well above the national average of 84.18 per cent, the University also topped seven out of the nine categories in the North West.

Liverpool Hope continues to make its mark nationally, being ranked top in the UK for Assessment and Feedback, 2nd in the UK for Learning Resources and Student Voice, 4th in the UK for Teaching Quality, Learning Opportunities, and Academic Support and 8th in the UK for Learning Community.

The University is one of only two in the North West, and the only Merseyside-based University to be ranked in the top 10 nationally.

Liverpool Hope’s Students’ Union is also celebrating after taking the top spot in the North West, and 7th place in the UK for student satisfaction.

The news comes after the University was awarded a Gold rating in the government’s Teaching Excellence Framework in June this year.

Dr Penny Haughan, Dean of Students at Liverpool Hope University, said: “We’re proud to be in the top 10 in the UK in nearly every category. Our aim is to offer a joined up, consistently excellent student experience, and we are glad that this is being recognised.
