Teacher Education collaborated with St Teresa Lisieux primary school, to share with Liverpool Hope’s trainee teachers the REAL project approach to learning.
As part of St Teresa's Y5 REAL Project, the children explored the question ‘Are we destined for intergalactic exploration?’ and through their learning discussed ideas and their scientific understanding of the universe.
In preparation for a presentation on their findings, the children focused on their speaking and listening skills, before leading a short presentation on what REAL Projects are all about and their scientific discoveries.
Liverpool Hope trainee teachers and tutors formed part of the panel, listening and responding to the children's ideas, while parents from the school and tutors made up the audience.
