Associate Professor David Bolt publishes new chapterThursday 19 January 2017
Associate Professor David Bolt’s chapter ‘The Silent Treatment’ has been included in a new literary journal of disability culture.
Dozen: The Best of Breath and Shadow has been written exclusively by people with disabilities, and edited by Chris Kuell.
GoodReads describes the collection as presenting the “best writing from the magazine’s first 12 years”.
Dr David Bolt’s chapter is used as a teaching tool with Hope’s first-year SEN students. The chapter employs humour to critique social attitudes towards blindness.
The book is available in paperback and electronic formats.
