BAFTA nomination for alumna Angela SamataMonday 4 April 2016
A BBC1 documentary presented by former Hope MA student Angela Samata, has been nominated for an award by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
Life After Suicide is nominated in the Single Documentary category alongside Bitter Lake, Louis Theroux: Transgender Kids and My Son the Jihadi.
In the documentary, the Art History and Curating alumna talked about her reaction to the suicide of her partner Mark, and explored what life is like for those left behind after the suicide of a loved one.
The House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards will take place on Sunday 8th May at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
