Broaden your horizons with international exchangeMonday 7 December 2015
International Exchange week (7th-12th December) gives students the chance to find out about studying abroad in countries such as Canada, Belgium, USA and Spain.
There will be a special stand set up in the Gateway Foyer between 12:30-1:30pm each day, as well as a specific information session on Friday 11th December at 1pm in the Employability Hub. Students can also email email@example.com with questions or to arrange an appointment to speak to someone.
Andrew Bourke will be one of those on hand to answer questions in the Gateway Foyer throughout the week. Andrew spent a year studying Politics and International Relations at Trent University in Canada.
He said: “My time spent abroad truly was a life changing moment that has gave me the ambition of moving out to Canada to live and left me with a group of incredible friends from all over the world. Knowing how much the program benefited me in a wide range of areas I could not recommend it enough.”
Students at Liverpool Hope University have the opportunity to spend a semester or even an entire year at one of our partner universities in countries such as Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, France, Norway, Spain, The Netherlands and USA.
To be eligible, students must:
- Pass their first year at Liverpool Hope and be of good academic standing (B/C or above in all assessments),
- Be able Demonstrate serious academic and professional goals for their exchange
- Be prepared to abide by the rules and regulations of Liverpool Hope University and the host university.
How do I apply?
The first step is to register your interest. Email firstname.lastname@example.org, call into The International Unit (first floor of The Gateway Building) between 1:30-3:30 on Mondays and Thursdays or visit the stand in the Gateway Foyer all this week.
