Christmas season inspires teens at Saturday arts clubFriday 20 November 2015
Christmas themed creativity is the inspiration for this season’s Saturday Art and Design Club, which has relaunched at the Creative Campus.
The weekend workshops are open to teenagers aged 14-16, and provide the opportunity to study art and design under the guidance of academics, industry experts and current undergraduates.
Attendees will design and create Christmas-themed gifts, before being shown how to create their own wrapping paper, boxes and gift tags.
Returning student Olivia Riddell, who first attended the summer Saturday Art and Design Club, said: "The last creative club was an ultimate success, which gave me confidence and encouragement - in a stable learning environment with experienced people - to pursue textiles in examination conditions."
The ‘Creative for Christmas’ workshops will run each weekend until Saturday 5th December and aim to engage students, while developing talent and confidence.
