Donal Moloney shortlisted for Denton’s Art PrizeWednesday 7 February 2018
Donal Moloney, BA Fine Art Programme Leader, has been shortlisted for the Dentons Art Prize 2018.
Dentons is collaborating with curator Niamh White and artist Tim A Shaw to host a bi-annual £5,000 prize for the most exciting emerging contemporary artists working today.
Shortlisted Artists include; John Sheehy, Victor Seaward, Fleur Yearsley, Coco Crampton, Donal Moloney, Fiona G Roberts, Minyoung Choi, Fiona Gourlay, Mircea Teleaga, Jay Price, Freya Douglas Morris, Katharine Lazenby and Dominic Dispirito
The Dentons Art Prize will be awarded later in 2018, by an independent jury of top art world professionals.
Past panels have included high profile artists Richard Wentworth, Mark Titchner, Susan Hiller and Michael Landy, gallerists Neil Wenman, Simon Lee, Hannah Barry and Maureen Paley, collectors David Roberts and Valeria Napoleone and curators Ziba Ardalan and Ellen Greig.
Previous winners of the Dentons Art Prize include Alzbeta Jaresova, Paresha Amin, Alexandra Lethbridge and Aimee Parrott.
