Dr Emanuele Lindo Secco explores new Frontiers in Biomedical RoboticsFriday 22 January 2016
Lecturer in Electronic Engineering Emanuele Lindo Secco has joined the Open Science platform Frontiers as a Review Editor.
As a member of the Editorial Board, Dr Secco has a focus on Biomedical Robotics, publishing papers within Frontiers’ Robotics and AI journal.
Explaining why he was keen to join the online platform, Dr Secco said: “Frontiers’ journals have quickly risen to the upper percentiles - in terms of citations - when compared with all other open-access journals.”
Frontiers aims to drive innovations and develop new technologies by making peer-review more efficient and transparent. It works alongside research network site Loop, to foster collaboration.
The Biomedical Robotics journal publishes “leading-edge research that investigates the science and technology of robotic and mechatronic systems and their applications in medicine and biology”.
