Extra support for final year students

Monday 6 October 2014

Final year students may have noticed that their new ID cards look slightly different to previous years – this is because their Honours Card provides them with access to a range of extra support in their final year of study.

The Honours Card allows final year students to:

  • Access dedicated Honours study spaces on both campuses with PC wireless provision, photocopying/printing facilities and support from the Learning Spaces Co-ordinator
  • Take out additional book loans and get support from your Faculty Librarian
  • Enjoy priority careers appointments and careers advice
  • Make priority room bookings through the Gateway building
  • Receive invitations to guest lectures
  • Use £10 free print credit (this will be automatically credited to each final year student's account)
  • Obtain discounts on fees for masters awards if you achieve a 2:1 or above

If you are a final year student and you don’t have your Honours Card yet, please collect it from the Gateway service desk at Hope Park or the Faculty Office at the creative campus (if you study subjects at both campuses your card will be at Hope Park). If you are studying in the Network of Hope, your card will be available through the University Centre at your College.
