Faculty of Education Keynote Lecture - Professor Roger BrownTuesday 16 October 2012
Professor Roger Brown delivers the Faculty of Education Keynote Lecture to first year BA Education Studies students on Thursday 18th October
It is just over a year since the government white paper 'Higher Education: Students at the Heart of the System' was published. Whilst most attention was given to the increase in the full-time undergraduate fee, a number of other radical changes were introduced. This lecture will look at the implementation and impact of those changes as the first students paying £9,000 begin their courses.
Roger Brown is Professor of Higher Education Policy at Hope and former Vice Chancellor of Southampton Solent University. He is an international authority on market-based higher education systems.
The Faculty of Education Keynote Lecture takes place on Thursday 18th October, at 12.30pm in Lecture Theatre A.
