Free lunchtime performances at Cornerstone Arts Festival 2015Thursday 19 November 2015
Alongside eight days of free Cornerstone Arts Festival events at our Creative Campus, Hope Park will host a series of free lunchtime and early evening performances from international artists.
Each Lunchtime performance will take place between 1-2pm in the Hope Chapel.
The series begins on Monday 23rd November with chamber orchestra Gli Archi Cherubino. The orchestra was formed in L'Aquila 1 June 2007 by Judith Hamza, who wanted to create a place and an opportunity for collaboration between young musicians and well-known professionals. The youngest member of the orchestra is just 14. The orchestra’s repertoire ranges from Baroque to work by contemporary artists written especially for them
On Tuesday 24th November Tyndale Thomas (MBE) will perform. Tyndale Thomas creates and performs Gospel/inspirational music throughout the UK, Europe and America. He is the choir director for The Liverpool Harmonic Gospel Choir and the One Voice Community Choir in Preston and the musical director of Urban Voice. His debut album, Genesis, with original music and lyrics has been released featuring both choirs.
Thursday 26th November will see a performance from St Paul’s Chapel Choir from Nairobi (pictured) , and on Friday 27th November the Liverpool Hope Choirs will perform at Hope Chapel between 1-2pm.
