Dr Jacob Agyemang (Professional Tutor in Accountancy and Finance) joins Liverpool Hope from the University of Essex. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Essex, and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Hertfordshire. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Valley View University, Ghana and the World Bank Institute Certificate on key labour market issues and economics on Anglophone Africa. He has held taught at the University of Essex, Queen Mary University of London, University of East London and the University Campus Suffolk. His industry experience includes managerial roles with companies such as the British Petroleum, TNS Field Ltd and the Range Superstores. He is currently researching the effect of multi-differentiated and interdependent cultural patterning that shape management accounting and control systems (MACS) in the private manufacturing companies of less developed countries.
Dr Clay Gransden (Post Doctoral Teaching Fellow in Marketing) has been involved with Liverpool Hope University since 2004, initially as an undergraduate student, graduating in 2007. He began his PhD in 2008 in the area of customer delight in the hospitality sector. In addition, he also has more than 10 years’ experience working in the Hospitality and Marketing sector. He is currently involved in several research and consultancy projects, providing guidance and expertise in hospitality marketing and social media at a local, regional and international level.
Dr Arpita Agninotri also joins Liverpool Hope as a Lecturer in Marketing.
