Master’s students to host special art exhibitMonday 24 August 2015
Art work produced by six Liverpool Hope University Master’s students will be displayed in a free exhibition at the Creative Campus.
incompatible features pieces by abstract painters Stevie Baines and Gabrielle Caul, landscape painter Maurice Challenor, new media artist Jonny Seven, performance artist Andrew Taylor and sculptor Kathryn Wainwright.
Kathryn said: “Our practices are all very different, as they are based upon our personal interests and research. We have studied together, each undertaking a Master’s Degree by Creative Practice. In this exhibition, incompatible, we are able to share our work. We celebrate the connections between our practices and the differences.”
The exhibition consists of pieces from the final stages of each artist’s course, which have been supported by research and critical evaluation.
A private viewing will be held at the Cornerstone Art Studios at the Creative Campus on Thursday 17th September 2015 from 6-9pm. The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday 18th-Wednesday 23rd September 2015 (excluding Sunday) from 10am-4pm.
