New graduate interns join Hope staffWednesday 13 January 2016
The latest intake of graduate interns have joined the Hope community, taking on a variety of roles across the University.
Based at both the Creative Campus and Hope Park, the 56 former students will spend two months gaining valuable experience in a wide range of departments and industries.
The full-time paid programme aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, providing graduates with the opportunity to boost their knowledge and enhance their employability.
Special Education Needs and Education graduate Megan Gamble has joined the internship as an Alumni Mentoring Scheme Project Officer.
She said: “I applied for the intern programme as I wanted to enhance my CV and put into practice what I learned in my degree.
“In the future, I’d like to work with children who are placed in alternative curriculums that support their needs.
“I hope the mentoring role will boost my self-confidence and give me experience of new challenges.”
