Professor Galina Paramei to chair Progress in Colour Studies conferenceFriday 10 June 2016
Professor Galina Paramei from the Department of Psychology is chairing the international Progress in Colour Studies 2016 conference taking place in London this September.
As Chair of the Programme Committee, Professor Paramei is charged with allocating reviewers to abstracts and taking decisions on talks or posters.
The conference aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for a discussion of recent and ongoing research, on topics including vision, perception, linguistics, imaging, cognition and memory.
Following its conclusion, Professor Paramei will help edit a book featuring papers from the presenters.
Elsewhere, an e-book edited by Professor Paramei has recently been published by Frontiers. Color and Form Perception: Straddling the Boundary aims to bring together experimental research encompassing colour and form perception. It looks at a range of topics, including colour in complex scenes, colour and form and dynamic aspects of form perception.
