health sciences research day 15 Tuesday 23 June 2015

Research projects ranging from parasites to prosthetic limbs will be under discussion at the 2015 School of Health Sciences Research Day.

All staff and students are welcome to come along on Thursday 25th June and hear about the latest research taking place in the department, as well as long term plans for the Health Sciences at Liverpool Hope.

The day will also include a keynote speech/workshop on “Computational Intelligence in Health and Medicine” by Professor Taktak, Consultant Clinical Scientist, Director of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM), Honorary Professor at the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

The day will also include a reflection on the 2014 REF results and plans for REF 2020, and prizes for Researcher Achievement and Best Paper. The 2015 conference comes at an exciting time for the university as work is now underway on a new Science Building due for completion in January 2016.
