Show result proves Hope’s got talentMonday 23 March 2015
The Capstone Theatre was packed out with students and staff last Friday as the Hope's Got Talent winner was announced.
After three heats, the judges narrowed eight acts down to two for the Grand Final.
Singer Dom Spowart competed against the musical Happily Ever After? written by Creative and Performing Arts student Jonny Cheriyan, and performed by students from the Creative Campus.
The public vote saw Jonny Cheriyan 's Happily Ever After? named as the overall winner of the contest, winning a trophy and £100 in vouchers.
Michael McGlynn, University Chaplain, and who helped organise the competition, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the acts that participated, and all of those who put in many hours of hard work to make the night the success that it was. We're looking forward to next year already!”
