Teacher Education students top North West ratings for course satisfactionFriday 3 October 2014
Liverpool Hope University’s Teacher Education students are the most satisfied with their course in the North West, according to figures released last month.
The data from the National Student Survey, an annual survey of final year undergraduate students, shows 98% of the University’s final year Teacher Education students expressing ‘overall satisfaction’ with their course.
In addition to putting Liverpool Hope first in the North West for overall satisfaction of Teacher Education students, the result puts the University second in the country.
Dr Jane Moore, Head of the School of Teacher Education, said: 'Following our successful Ofsted inspection earlier this year, we're absolutely delighted with this survey's findings. Working closely with our Partnership schools, we provide training for teachers that is current and innovative, linking research to best practice. Our high rate of employment, above sector average, is testament to this.
“Ensuring that all children and young people have the best possible educational opportunities is at the heart of all we do, and our Hope Teachers enter the profession ready to make a difference.”
