Events and Activities

There are many social and cultural events and trips organised throughout the year for our International Students to participate in, such as Nigerian Independence Day, Eid, Diwali, American Thanksgiving, Chinese New Year and Spring New Year. Many of these events are led by the students themselves.

We also work closely with the Liverpool Erasmus Society and the Wirral O.W.L.S (Wirral Overseas Students’ Welfare and Liaison Service) to offer a programme of excellent value educational trips around the UK. Our international students have enjoyed trips to the beautiful Lake District (home of the poet William Wordsworth), the historical city of York, Haworth (including the Bronte parsonage) and the Yorkshire Moors, the National Media Museum in Bradford, Stratford-upon-Avon (including William Shakespeare's birthplace), and North Wales.

To keep to date with any news, events and trips, all international students are advised to regularly check their University email accounts and join the 'Hope International Student Welfare' Facebook Group. Our International Welfare Facebook group is used as a social hub for international student news and updates and for keeping in contact with the wider international student community at Liverpool Hope. Currently we have 260 members in our Facebook Group.

International students can also make contact with the Liverpool Hope SU International Officer, Hannah Burkhardt.
