The Selection Day is your opportunity to demonstrate why you would be a successful candidate for a PGCE course at Liverpool Hope.
Attending one of our PGCE Selection Days will give you the chance to:
At the end of the Selection Event, you will be given a verbal assessment of how strong your potential application is for securing a PGCE place at Liverpool Hope, if you decide to formally apply through UCAS.
In order to be eligible to attend the Selection Event, you must hold the following qualifications and experience:
You do not need to have completed your National Skills Tests to attend the event, but please note the successful completion of the tests is mandatory for students to be accepted on to a PGCE programme.
PGCE applicants will also be expected to have mainstream primary or secondary school experience and are required to successfully pass a Health Check Statement and an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
