2009 ENTRYThis course is designed for students who currently hold a first degree (2.2 classification or above) which is not recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Passing the course confers eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR), the first step to becoming a chartered psychologist. It is therefore a requirement for students seeking careers in, for example, educational, clinical or forensic psychology. Study Details/Module InformationYou will be able to study key areas of psychology in a thriving research environment and, through your own supervised research dissertation, explore practical issues of interest and relevance to a range of theoretical and occupational fields. You will develop a firm knowledge base in psychology and gain experience of the research process. The course offers a variety of assessments designed to help you to become an effective communicator and problem solver with a critical, independent outlook. You will also have the opportunity to build on more generic skills such as written and oral communication and numeracy. Key Information
