The Accommodation Office is responsible for managing the full range of residential student study rooms on offer to both undergraduate and postgraduate students at Liverpool Hope. The rooms are designed to meet the needs of all students and are conveniently located on the two main teaching areas of Hope Park and the Creative Campus, plus the popular location of Aigburth Park, totalling an impressive 1,200 rooms. All our rooms include access to a common room, a laundrette, unlimited internet access, 24 hour security and the support of a Resident Tutor.
The Accommodation Office also has four luxurious suites, seventeen executive double ensuite rooms and two one bedroom self catering appartments on Hope Park campus, which are available to rent to visiting academics, faculty guests and the parents of Liverpool Hope students.
Living in student accommodation at Liverpool Hope is a fantastic way for you to become part of the University’s community. You will be expected to take responsibility for your academic engagement and appropriate behaviour during your time in residential accommodation, and in return you will be offered support and guidance. Most important of all, you will become part of a welcome community who live together as part of the Hope ‘family’.
All of our accommodation is overseen by the team of resident and senior resident tutors who will act as mentors during your time in halls. The Resident staff team will support you to become successful learners and well-rounded individuals. This involves oversight of the social and academic progress of the students in their charge. They will be available to offer you assistance with your studies, provide advice and guidance and organise social events.
Members of halls of residence come together socially for a range of events organised by the resident tutors and very specifically for formal dining-in nights which are held on a regular basis through the academic year.
The University is starting to develop residential life further by inviting senior individuals to associate themselves with a particular hall and to act as ‘Fellows of Hall’. This role involves attending, for example, dining in nights, being an occasional presence around hall and meeting students both formally and informally.
